Wait, you can make money playing games?

Yes, it’s a job now.

Some sites and mobile game companies will pay you for testing their game. The good news about it is they’re getting more and more millennials and influencers (like Instagram Models!) to attract people to play their game.

It’s good if you register in several sites to get familiar with the process and get to see different offers. It’s just like freelancing.

Many people make money playing games but what they don’t know is there’s no age limit for this. It just depends on the company on who they’re making the game for.

But this isn’t an overnight quick-rich scheme. It’s still hard work. Sometimes they’ll want you to test the game for long hours.

So better treat like an office job. Well, a more fun and exciting office job where your boss pays you to shoot stuff.

By the way, don’t forget to register with paying sites like Paypal and update your resume before trying to get a video game testing project. You’re playing to have fun but doesn’t excuse you for not being professional.

It’s their research to see if the game will do good or not. And some of them (I kid you not) are from affiliates of the military. Don’t ask me why it’s probably confidential.

Now here are a few sites for you to choose from to play games that will pay you.

Author’s note: I am simply trying to boost my blog traffic. I am not affiliated with any of these sites and companies. I will not give you their links. You can search for them yourself in Google.

1. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is more than just a gaming site. It’s where users can earn, uhm, “Swagbucks” points for finishing hard tasks… like surfing the internet, answering surveys, and watching videos (yep, not kidding).

It’s an extremely popular website that pays its users to play games online at the comfort of their home. This site, believe it or not, has paid over $150 million to their top-ranked users!

2. GSN Cash Games

GSN Cash Games is the most trusted site by gamers everywhere in the world. Only problem is they usually have cheap projects.

It’s a hub for money-paying game companies that can pay you as much as $50 per hour. Sometimes they even do crowdsourcing project and pose it as a contest. And the winner gets the prize!

3. Bingo! Zone

Remember what I said about these companies hiring ANYONE AT ANY AGE? Here’s why.

Games aren’t only limited to killing and fighting scenes. You also have simple ones like BINGO.

Created by Gameville, Bingo Zone was made for people who love playing Bingo. Most of the time they give projects to people above 30 years of age.

4. Second Life

Ever heard of a Chinese girl named Anshe Chung? She was the first-ever lad to earn one million dollars when she converted her game assets to real money. Go ahead, Google it.

This made Second Life popular as hell to game lovers, especially to those who used to play The Sims.

Now more than 2 million active gamers test games for Second Life. Making it a very competitive place for you if you’re just starting out.

5. Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars is a reward site that’s like Swagbucks, they pay you for doing different tasks including playing different games created by app developers.

The difference is they offer GSN Cash Games which allow you to get paid to play games that are GSN hosted.

They have paid over $50 million to their users and are planning to expand their company. This is a hint for you to get in the game early if you want to get in this exciting new job trend of being a paid game tester.

6. App Cent

This one offers multiple ways to make you money. Basically, you earn points which they call “coins”.

App Cent offers you different apps to download and a checklist of things to play and test on the game.

Once you gain your coins, you can redeem them to purchase apps from Google’s Playstore and Apple Store. You can also redeem them as gift cards or convert them to real cash to be transferred to your Paypal account.

7. Cash Crate

Cash Crate is another reward site like Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars. You earn points by doing different tasks and one of them is by playing games.

Completing an activity in here can pay you up to $50.

You also have tournaments where the winner receives a prize. Though their tournaments require a certain fee to enter.

Cash Crate was founded in 2006 and it now has 2 million users. And they’re looking to get more.

More are out there…

There are more out there but these are sites that I have tried and experienced first hand. You can use any of these sites to start making some side money. Though I don’t recommend you make it your actual job as project volumes are very spontaneous.

Just do it for fun and some extra cash, that’s it! And it doesn’t matter if you’re young or old they’ll likely hire you if you qualify. Good luck!
